You need
- A Google account that can use Google AI Studio.
- A Google Cloud project. AI Studio can create a default one for a new user after Terms acceptance.
- The normal yukoe Windows app open at Settings → API & Services.
One key adds Gemini translation and Talk with AI. Create it in Google AI Studio, store it only in yukoe, and verify it privately before a stream.
Google currently offers a free Gemini Developer API tier. Limits and eligible models can change, so this guide links to the live pricing page instead of freezing a quota number.
Never paste the key into this website, Twitch chat, a screenshot, or a source file.
Sign in to Google AI Studio and accept the terms if prompted. New users may see a default project and key; existing Cloud users may need to import a project first.
Choose Create API key in the project you want yukoe to use, then copy the new value once.
In yukoe, open Settings → API & Services → Gemini and AI fallback.
Return to API & Services and confirm Gemini says Ready.
Your organization may not grant the required project, API key, service-usage, or service-account permissions. Import a project you control or ask its administrator.
Create a new auth key in AI Studio. Do not reuse an unrestricted Standard key, and make sure you copied the entire new value without spaces.
Check the selected model, project quota, and current pricing page. Free limits can change; yukoe can continue with another configured translation provider.
